People of Canada and United States celebrate Thanksgiving Day with full of joy and with great enthusiasm. It is a harvest festival. People of Canada celebrate it on the 2^nd day Monday of October and in United States it is celebrated on 4^th Sunday of November.

This day was first celebrated by the pilgrims of Plymouth colony. They gave thanks and gratitude to god for helping them during survival a brutal time in winter. They took three days’ feast providing enough for 53 pilgrims and 90 native Americans. They completed their feast by taking Pumpkins, Lobster, Venison, Fish, Clams, Fruits and Squash etc.
